ZLAN5840I is the new generation RS485 isolated 8-port server /Modbus gateway developed by Shanghai ZLAN information technology Co., LTD. ZLAN5840I can realize 8-way serial port data to TCP/IP. Compared with ZLAN5800A, ZLAN5840I supports Modbus gateway function from Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU. Modbus gateway supports simultaneous reading of data on multiple Modbus clients, which is called "multi-host" function.

ZLAN5840I support 8 RS485 serial ports, and RS485 interface is a terminal interface. Two 10M/100M Ethernet ports are supported. The user connects the device to the network through a network cable. The upper computer can access 8 serial ports simultaneously through virtual serial ports or TCP protocol.
