ZLAN5812D is an industrial-grade rail mounted 8-port serial port server, with data collector/iot gateway, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, RS485 to JSON and other functions in one.

The device has two Ethernet ports (single-port 5812D, dual-port 5812LD) and eight 485 serial ports. The two Ethernet ports of the ZLAN5812LD function as switches. The 8-way serial PORT of the ZLAN5812D can use the same IP address. Different serial ports are distinguished by their ports. You can also use a different IP address for each serial port. The parameters corresponding to each serial port can be set independently. It has the characteristics of rich functions, fast running speed and stable performance.

The device supports a wide voltage ranging from 9 V to 24V. The terminal type power supply is connected with a ground cable.

ZLAN5812D adopts guide rail design, with guide buckle on the back; At the same time, it is also equipped with the above two mounting ears, which can be mounted horizontally or vertically, respectively suitable for installation to the backplane or the desktop.

The ZLAN5812D supports 2-bit stop bits, data bits smaller than 8 (e.g., 7-bit data with 1 stop bit), and baud rates up to 921.6Kbps.

ZLAN5812D can realize the conversion of 8 TCP/IP protocols to RS485, and 8 channels can work at the same time and can be configured at different baud rates. It can realize the data acquisition of 485 devices through the network, and the network side can use the virtual serial port to connect the serial port software or the direct TCP/IP communication software. The ZLAN5812LD comes with two 10M/100M network ports, which can be connected to any network port. The other network port can be cascaded to multiple ZLAN5812Ds through network cables, which can be cascaded to 16 serial ports and 32 serial ports.
