ZLAN5843A is a new generation of 8 serial port server developed by Shanghai ZLANlan Information Technology Co., LTD. Compared with ZLAN5800A, because ZLAN5843A adopts the third generation hardware technology, the cost performance is higher. The ZLAN5843A supports the Modbus gateway function from Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU. The Modbus gateway supports simultaneous data reading when multiple Modbus clients are connected, that is, the multi-host function.

ZLAN5843A serial port server is a protocol converter between RS232/485 and TCP/IP developed by Shanghai ZLAN Information Technology Co., LTD. The ZLAN5843A supports eight RS232 serial ports and eight RS485 serial ports (RS485 is not supported by default, if RS485 is required, the model is ZLAN5843A-485). Connect to the ZLAN5843A through one network cable to realize the simultaneous full-duplex operation of the eight serial ports. The function of each serial port is the same as that of ZLAN2100/3100, which is ideal for multi-serial networking.

ZLAN5843A supports expansion of 16 serial ports, 24 serial ports, 32 serial ports, and up to 64 serial ports through the level network port.
