Summary

ZLAN5103K is a RS232 device data collector/iot gateway specially designed for industrial environments, with serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, RS232 to JSON and other functions in one. It has an RS232 interface and an Ethernet interface. It supports rail type installation or desktop type screw hole installation, small size and easy installation. Adopts terminal type power supply, 9 ~ 24V wide voltage input. It saves cost and volume, and has higher cost performance compared with ordinary products.

When the server is used as a common serial port, the host software can send data to the RS232 port of 5103K through TCP/UDP transparent transmission or virtual serial port by connecting the network port to an Ethernet port. The data received on the RS232 interface is also transmitted to the software on the TCP side or the virtual serial port. In the virtual serial port mode, the serial port software that connects to the virtual serial port is not required.

When used as a Modbus gateway, 5103K supports Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU, so that the upper computer can use Modbus TCP protocol to collect data of RS232 Modbus RTU devices. On the contrary, if the RS232 terminal is used as the primary station, it can also be used. 5103K supports more advanced Modbus gateway functions, including configurable Modus gateway ZLMB, storage Modbus gateway, etc., which fully meets various configurations and usages of Modbus gateway. The multi-host feature allows multiple computer masters to access an RS232 slave device at the same time.
